Dear honorable Heads ofthe States
Dear Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General
On the 65th birthday anniversary of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, rye, the Burmese prodemocracy movement in India would like to submit this Ietier endorsed by Indian Members of Parliament for your serious attention and appropriate actions for Burma/Myanmar.

We call upon you to take effective action to secure the immediate release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and over 2,000 political prisoners
We urge you to pressure on military junta of Burma/Myanmar to engage with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi before the election to be held in this vear. We appeal you not to support, endorse and recognize the election to be held in 2010 if the constitution announced in 2008 is not amended, if political prisoners were not released and if the election procedures are not free, fair, incluiive and transparent we recommend you to investigate the news on nuclear and missile technology and take strong actions to ensure that these programs are put the supervision of IAEA. We appeal to all members of the Security Council:

To pass a binding resorution on Burma/Myanmar in accordance with the United Nations General Assembly resolutions on gross human rights violations in Burma

o To exercise the Responsibility to protect (R2p) policy against the authorities of Burma/Myanmar
o To bring the military leaders to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against Burmese peoples for decades
