Aung San Suu Kyi Imprisoned
Today, Burma’s military regime outrageously found Nobel Peace Prize recipient Aung San Suu Kyi guilty of sham charges and sentenced her to 18 months of incarceration — which the regime can easily extend to many years, as it has in the past. This happened at the same time the regime has been carrying out brutal, scorched-earth attacks against its own people.
